Food on a photograph
Kaoru, a food stylist based in Tokyo, Japan is going to hold her first exhibition called "Food on a Photograph". This is her personal project, where she literally puts food she cooks on photographs and takes snaps of them with her beloved iPhone. Very simple and analog yet astonishingly eye pleasing, she has been working on it for the past two and a half years. She'll be showing her classic works as well as the latest pieces that has never been shown before, which she was inspired by the trip she made to New York and Los Angeles this past September.
In addition, she'll be selling her zine "Food on a Photograph", which is sold in stores in New York and Los Angeles such as McNally Jackson, Kitchen Art & Letters, The Good Company and Virgil Normal etc. This is the first time ever release of this zine in Japan. -
